Au loin, la guerre fait rage. Dans une ferme isolée au bord de la forêt, deux femmes survivent. La plus jeune, Marie, récemment arrivée, tente de trouver sa place au sein de la communauté. À la lisière de la forêt, un renard rôde…
With the help of Marie, a war refugee from the north, Madeleine maintains a meagre livelihood in her farm on the edge of a forest. While Madeleine awaits the return of her brother from the front, Marie continually vanishes into the woods in search of an elusive fox…
