À 19 ans, Pavel travaille à l’usine locale comme son père et son grand-père avant lui. Son temps libre, il le passe sur les bords de Loire avec Anja, son amie d’enfance dont il est aujourd’hui secrètement amoureux. Si Anja rêve d’émancipation et s’apprête à passer son bac, Pavel n’est pas inquiet : ils ont grandi ensemble, ils vieilliront ensemble. Mais alors qu’un plan social est annoncé à l’usine, Anja se laisse séduire par Antoine, le fils du patron. Pour la première fois de sa vie, Pavel n’est plus sûr de rien.
At 19, Pavel works at the local factory like his father and grandfather before him. He spends his free time on the banks of the Loire with Anja, his childhood friend, with whom he is now secretly in love. While Anja dreams of emancipation and is about to take her baccalaureate, Pavel isn’t worried: they grew up together, they will grow old together. But when a layoff plan is announced at the factory, Anja lets herself be seduced by Antoine, the boss’s son. For the first time in his life, Pavel is no longer sure of anything.
